Landscape/Hardscape Technician
Salary: Based on experience

Description: Everyone enjoys attractively designed residential areas, playgrounds, shopping centers, parkways & industrial parks. Many tasks that a technician will perform requires a fairly high level of training and experience, including:
* Receiving direction from the Landscape Foreman, keep the job on schedule and work without direct supervision.
* Operating a variety of equipment including mulcher, landscape tractors, skidsteers, chippers, saws and water/mud pumps to list a few.
* Working as a laborer, as needed, shoveling, raking, sweeping etc.
* Working as part of a team, jointly carrying out assigned skilled construction tasks.
* At times, the technician may work alone on the job site. Answering questions for customers who are visiting the job site.
* Making sure the job site is left in an acceptable condition on a daily basis.
* Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Experience and knowledge in landscape design and hardscape installation.
* Ability to work independently at times and be productive and motivated.
* Must have a valid driver's license.
* Be on call during the winter months to participate in snow removal activities.

Equipment Operator/CDL Truck Driver
Salary: Based on experience
Terms: Fulltime/Seasonal

Description: Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Equipment may include trucks, front-end loaders, dozer, graders, compactors, snow blowers, and other related pieces of equipment. Equipment operator must clean, maintain, and secure all equipment as directed by legislation, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Experience and knowledge with operating heavy equipment is necessary.
* Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
* Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
* Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored.
* Participate in routine maintenance.
* Must have a valid Class A driver's license.
* Knowledge of engine maintenance and repair is a plus but not mandatory.
* Ability to work independently at times and be productive and motivated.
* Be on call during the winter months to participate in snow removal activities.

Irrigation Technician
Salary: Based on experience
Terms: Part time/Seasonal

Description: Manual and technical work at a skilled level involving the maintenance, repair, and operation of lawn sprinkler systems and complex electrical irrigaiton.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Must have considerable experience and knowledge of the principles and practices of irrigation systems maintenance and repair.
* Ability to diagnose operational problems within irrigation systems, and repair, adjust or replace faulty components
as required.
* Knowledge and skill in the use of electrical test equipment, plumbing tools, and general mechanical tools.
* Ability to make simple estimates of materials and equipment needed to perfrom the work.
* Knowledge and awareness of the hazards and safety precautions required of the work.
* Ability to understand instructions and perform the required work from general diagrams and specifications.
* Must have a valid driver's license.
* Ability to work independently and be productive and motivated.
* Must be on call during the winter months to participate in snow removal activities.

Lawn Maintenance Technician

The lawn maintenance technician is responsible for the performance on the tasks necessary to achieve a pleasant and functional outdoor envirnonment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Experience and knowledge with general ground maintenance.
* Must have knowledge of shrub and tree identification and how to prune.
* Knowledge of small engine maintenance and repair is a plus but not mandatory.
* Ability to work independently at times and be productive and motivated.
* Must have a valid driver's license.
* Be on call during the winter months to participate in snow removal activities.
